Forever
It's been forever it seems since I've updated. Life has been interesting. I started working in a studio last week. A new experience to say the least. People I have never met before come in and I'm expected to capture them at their best. A challenge I enjoy. But in the meantime here's some new pics of my sister, Pharah. My mom did not like the school pictures and asked me to do some for her.

SMU
If you are from Dallas or anywhere near Dallas you know SMU. It is a school that has been around for a long time. Almost everyone I know has a connection to the school, whether it be knowing someone who went there or worked there. It is a part of the history of Dallas, so I figured I would go and try to capture some of what SMU is to me.

Self-timer
So one of the deals about being a photographer is that you aren't ever really on the other side of the camera. I got married in April and was in need of some bridal shots. Of course with all the busy craziness that was happening at that time I wasn't able to schedule a session with anybody. One day, I decided I was just going to do a shoot by myself with a tripod and self-timer. Here's some of what I got.

Foster-Moore Wedding
I had the privilege of capturing the marriage of Tracie and Roger at the home of her parents. It was a sweet cozy affair with just family present. Turns out I knew their preacher from when I was very young. Small world!

The blushing bride!

The groom was all ready to go!

Tracie's parents were so proud!
Thank you for the opportunity to capture and share in your beautiful day!

Oh dear
As you can obviously see I have not updated in a very long time. With the craziness of finishing up school, wedding stuff and moving it's been pretty hectic to say the least. But now that everything is starting to settle out, I hope to pick back up my camera and get some good shots.
On a side note, the post before this one included the Jower-Wright family. Jenny, the beautiful woman in the lovebirds post passed on early April. Many of her remembrance photos were ones that I shot. It is weird to think that as a photographer the images you capture are often times the ones people cling to in uncertain times. Pretty heavy stuff. Jenny, you will be missed til we see you again.
