Family

I got the opportunity to join Katy and her family for Katy's birthday celebration at Logan's this past weekend. It was a great chance to get that Christmas card shot. She has such a beautiful family!

Her momma came into town to celebrate also!!

Of course we can't forget the lovebirds.

Austin

Awhile back Peter and I went to Austin for a mini vacation. Instead of taking pictures of the things most people take pictures of (i.e., the capitol, UT) I really only took pictures of Red Bud Isle and the sky... Why? I don't know, the sky was pretty?

I love symmetry! And when nature gives us some symmetry, I eat it up!
I did let Peter have the camera for awhile! :) The water felt amazing. The island had all these small romantic inlets on the water. Totally a date place!
I love the way sun comes through clouds. This plaque explains the system in place that caused Red Bud Isle to form.
Peter is the best! He patiently waited and drank his Izze while shopping happened!! <3

Baby!

I got to take pictures of Emma's little brother when he finally decided to join us here on the Earth. His little ears were going to be too folded so he has ear molds on! I think they make him look oh so adorable!

Poor sleepy baby was being kept awake by the mean old lady. :)
He was definitely smiling for me! I know he was only a couple weeks old, but he was smiling. We'll get more pictures up here of him with his ears all fixed up!

2nd Amendment

The 2nd Amendment of the Constitution protects our rights to bear arms. So that is what they did. (In a safe and respectful way of course!)

The shoulder holster is very helpful and makes you legit!

Proper gun handling is very important!

Of course I went off by myself to do some "shooting" of my own!

First Baptist Dallas

So I did some shots of Peter's parents for a couple different websites they are working on. (Facebook being one of them of course) We did the pictures at First Baptist Dallas Downtown. That church is old enough and has been built onto so much that there are so many opportunities for different types of shots. Here are a few of my favorites.

My kids eyes are going to be SO BLUE! :)

K-i-s-s-i-n-g

So I have been wanting to shoot some engagement pictures for awhile. I wanted some practice before I do a couple of friends E-sessions. Therefore, I wrangled Peter and my tripod together at Joe Pool State Park for a semi E-session. (Hey we're engaged too! We're not crazies!!)

I totally didn't mean for Peter's shirt to match nature!

He's used to having to be a model for me. :)

Eskimo Kisses!!

LOVE!!!

Cutie

So I had the opportunity to take some pics of my favorite little model at home. Here's some that she sat still long enough for! :)

She discovered her hair was in pony tails. EXCITING!

Playing is WAY more fun than posing.

"I wanna see INSIDE the camera"

"You can play too."

Fisher Price has nothing on Peter's Hobby Lobby flip flops.

TOO CUTE!!

And she has a new baby brother to take pictures with. OH MAN! Congrats!!

Love

After shooting her bridals, the big day came! The bride and groom were glowing and couldn't keep their eyes off one another. Oh the love!

The Holiday Inn Express in Ennis was such a great location for the intimate wedding. They were open to plan changes (Thanks Texas weather!) and with us pretty much taking over the hotel! :)

The final walk as a single lady!

Kids grow up so fast

It amazes me how fast kids grow up. I now that in my mind's eye these lil ones are still this size. But alas they are not. Do not rush the kids in your life to grow up.

She was really digging that turkey leg.

She wasn't ready for her close up.

Ooommm turkey....

Soak it up.
