Vee

It's great having artist friends. They are totally up for anything when it comes to doing creative things. Here's a few of my favorites from Deep Ellum.

We liked this one because it looked like the cover of a documentary.

Baby it's cold outside...

Babies are always fun to photograph! Working in the studio gave me many opportunities to get some practice. Here's a little 17 month old we did right before Christmas!!

Tattoo

I recently took these shots while my husband was getting his tattoo done at a friend's house. I didn't realize my camera was on food setting (I love taking pictures of food I've fixed recently) and I got some really interesting shots. It somewhat reminds me of Norman Rockwell paintings.

Forever

It's been forever it seems since I've updated. Life has been interesting. I started working in a studio last week. A new experience to say the least. People I have never met before come in and I'm expected to capture them at their best. A challenge I enjoy. But in the meantime here's some new pics of my sister, Pharah. My mom did not like the school pictures and asked me to do some for her.

SMU

If you are from Dallas or anywhere near Dallas you know SMU. It is a school that has been around for a long time. Almost everyone I know has a connection to the school, whether it be knowing someone who went there or worked there. It is a part of the history of Dallas, so I figured I would go and try to capture some of what SMU is to me.

Pharah

My sister came and spent some time with me a couple of weeks ago. Of course we had to take some pictures! She cut off close to 10 inches of hair the day before. I think she looked great!

Self-timer

So one of the deals about being a photographer is that you aren't ever really on the other side of the camera. I got married in April and was in need of some bridal shots. Of course with all the busy craziness that was happening at that time I wasn't able to schedule a session with anybody. One day, I decided I was just going to do a shoot by myself with a tripod and self-timer. Here's some of what I got.

The flowers on my parents property were so pretty!
